Which Honda Civic trim is right for you?

It goes without saying that the Honda Civic is incredibly popular. It's known for being reliable and being able to go the distance. It's also very easy on the eyes! The Civic is truly one of the leaders in its segment, and we're here to help you decide which trim might be right for you.

Body Styles

The most popular Civic body style is the sedan, but there is also a coupe and a hatchback. We might carry one or two of from time to time. The sedan's popularity speaks for itself, but if your lifestyle demands extra cargo space then the hatchback is worth considering. Instead of 15.1 cubic feet of trunk space you'll get 25.7 cubic feet with the seats up and 46.2 cubic feet with the seats down.

Sedan Trims

Because the sedan is the model you'll probably gravitate to, we'll review its trim levels. There's the LX, EX, EX-T, EX-L, and Touring. All models come with Bluetooth, a backup camera, and you get daytime running lights that use LEDS. If your budget allows, we suggest starting at the EX. You'll get a moonroof, helpful Honda LaneWatch™ camera, and a 7-inch touchscreen that can run Apple CarPlay™ or Android Auto™!

The first two trims have a 2.0L engine with 158 horsepower and the remaining have a stronger 1.5L turbocharged engine with 174 horsepower. Features spread across the three top trims include heated seats, leather upholstery, power-adjusting seats for the driver and passengers, and navigation.

Standard on the top trim and available on all the others* is the Honda Sensing® package of advanced safety technologies. Our favorite crash-avoidance and convenience features include lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, and the adaptive cruise control.

To see why the Honda Civic has been popular for so many decades, stop into our dealership this week for a test drive!

*To get Honda Sensing® on the base model you must get the CVT transmission.
